Steve Mentzer: Project Development Coordinator; Founder: Central American Relief Effort

Steve Mentzer has been associated with Mission Relief Services for nearly three years.  Steve developed the Presbyterian Medical Equipment Project and has led numerous teams to Honduras. By uniting churches and Rotary clubs, Steve has formed a committed team of missionaries to help the southern region of Honduras.

Steve recently created the Central American Relief Effort to procure medicines for Southern Honduras. Through this project he has coordinated the shipment of several containers to the First Lady of Honduras, who, in turn, oversees the distribution of the supplies to numerous clinics and hospital wards.

Before joining Mission Relief, Steve worked as a stock broker for many years. He left the brokerage to become the Executive Director of the Lancaster Council of Churches and to serve Mission Relief. Steve and his wife, Sally, have two children.
