April 23, 2018, container #GESU 6456034, seal #0720062, Ghana. Dr. Prince Ofosu-Mensah of Greater Philadelphia Health Action, Inc., coordinated this 40’ high cube container for his compatriots in the Central Region of Ghana. Microscopes, office and waiting room furniture, laboratory equipment, hospital beds and mattresses, a panoramic dental X-ray machine, and a plethora of smaller medical and surgical equipment and supplies filled up all the void spaces in the container.
April 16, 2018, Kenya. Eight hospital beds, waiting room furniture, waste receptacles and a manual wheelchair filled this 18’ box truck shipment for Child Aid Africa, Inc. The items were destined for the East African country of Kenya.
April 14, 2018, Dominican Republic. Mission Relief Services was pleased to load a 16’ box truck with several stretchers, exam tables, bedside cabinets and overbed tables, 12 cases of disposable isolation gowns and 20 boxes of assorted medical-surgical supplies. These items were requested by Diogenes Molina of New York for ultimate shipment to his compatriots in the Dominican Republic.
April 2, 2018, Honduras. An assortment of medical-surgical equipment including utility carts, mobile workstations, examination gloves, patient gowns/pants, and particulate respirator masks were provided by Mission Relief Services to Serving at the Crossroads. These items were combined by Dr. Bob Sumner (President of the organization) with other items to fill a 20’ ocean container, which is being shipped to the Central American country of Honduras.
March 24, 2018, Pakistan. Sonny Afrees, an expatriate of Pakistan coordinated this 24’ box truck shipment which will be consolidated with other donations for further shipment to Pakistan. This truckload consisted of 4 pallets of examination gloves, 2 stretchers and a dental chair.
February 10, 2018, Mali, Africa. Balla Sissoko, an expatriate of Mali living in Plainfield NJ, coordinated this 26’ box truck shipment which will be consolidated with other donations for further shipment to Mali. This truckload consisted of 13 pieces of assorted physical training equipment, office furniture, wheelchairs, walkers, surgical/examination gloves and some 3 pallets-worth of assorted linens and medical-surgical supplies.
February 1 & 5, 2018, a van and a 26’ Box Truck, Dominican Republic. These vehicles were loaded at the MRS Parkesburg PA warehouse with 6 stretchers, a maternity hospital bed, an oxygen concentrator, a surgical suction machine, 36 office and waiting room chairs, 20 IV poles and 11 pallets of assorted medical-surgical supplies and equipment. These items were being consolidated by Ambiorix Gomez, the Gerente General (General Manager) of MEDISAN S.R.L. in Santiago, Republica Dominicana for further shipment to various hospitals in the Dominican Republic.
January 24, 2018, container #IRNU 5511218, seal #0720057 Haiti. Partners in Health is a large Boston-based charity with operations in Haiti and Rwanda. The Hospital Universitaire de Mirebalais is a 300-bed hospital that Partners in Heath built, and this modern facility resembles a hospital that one would see in this country. We received a large request for furnishings such as manual hospital beds, mattresses, mobile bassinets, glider-rocker chairs, examination tables, waiting room chairs and office furniture.
