Container Shipped to Mali

July 20, 2018, container #CAIU 8637297, seal #0720066, Mali.  Joseph Sackor of Philadelphia PA coordinated this container load for his associates in the West African country of Mali.  The valuable contents included 9 hospital beds, 4 stretchers, 60+ hospital bed mattresses, 4 electric wheelchairs/scooters, 30+ metal/oak dining room chairs, 36 walkers, 9 overbed tables and a host of other medical-surgical supplies/accessories.

Container Shipped to Dominican Republic

July 7, 2018, Dominican Republic.  Mission Relief Services was once again able to provide urgently-needed medical-surgical supplies and equipment to Diogenes Molina of New York for further shipment to his associates in the Dominican Republic.  We loaded a 16’ box truck with 40+ stackable waiting room chairs, 4 hospital stretchers, 3 electric scooters, 8 wheelchairs, 6 overbed tables and 9 IV poles, as well as four pallets’ worth of assorted supplies.

Container Shipped to Haiti

July 5, 2018, container #CMAU 7619938 45G1, seal #0720065, Haiti.  Partners in Health of Boston, Massachusetts, contracted with Mission Relief Services to ship another 40’ HC container to its affiliates in the Caribbean nation of Haiti.  Included in this shipment were some 72 foam hospital bed mattresses, 9 examination tables, 5 metal vertical storage cabinets, 6 infant bassinets, 11 overbed tables, 7 patient scales and a variety of cloth patient gowns and hospital linen.

Nigerian Success Story

On 17 February 2017, a 40’ High Cube ocean container was loaded at the Mission Relief Services (MRS) warehouse in Parkesburg PA and shipped to the West African country of Nigeria.  This container load took several months to be approved for shipment due to stringent documentation requirements by the Government of Nigeria.  The shipment was coordinated by Mr. Collins Ibeto (photo attached) and went out under the auspices of the Obodoukwu Union of North America (OUNA) of Torrance CA.  The shipment was sent to the Nzuko Obodoukwu Clan (OUNA’s affiliate in Nigeria) to outfit a new community hospital it was opening in the Imo State of Nigeria.  The contents of the container included several hospital beds/mattresses, stretchers, examination tables, examination lamps, laboratory equipment, office furniture, an infant incubator, a refrigerator-freezer and a plethora of other essential medical-surgical accessories and supplies.  The hospital was fully operational by mid-2018 and plans are now in the works to expand the scope of its medical services through the assistance of MRS.

Container Shipped to Benin

June 26, 2018, container #CMAU 7099456 45G1, seal #0720064, Cotonou, Benin.  Anthony Adjasse, the President of the Allied African Nations Chamber of Commerce, coordinated this 40’ high cube container for his associates in the West African country of Benin.  The contents of this container included 12 hospital beds, a large assortment of office and waiting room furniture, 8 sleeper chairs, an infant transport incubator, a tilting blood donor chair, miscellaneous surgical equipment/instruments, 5 examination tables/chairs and a host of medical-surgical supplies.

Container Shipped to Mexico

June 16, 2018, container #EMHU 644208, seal #0720063, Mexico.  Angel Barrio coordinated this 53’ high cube container for his associates in Mexico.  Two anesthesia machines, four stretchers, an infant transport incubator, six patient lifts, a pediatric crib, a hydrotherapy tub and a plethora of valuable examination gloves, isolation gowns, surgical instruments and medical-surgical supplies/equipment were packed inside this extra-long shipping container.

Container Shipped to Ghana

April 23, 2018, container #GESU 6456034, seal #0720062, Ghana.  Dr. Prince Ofosu-Mensah of Greater Philadelphia Health Action, Inc., coordinated this 40’ high cube container for his compatriots in the Central Region of Ghana.  Microscopes, office and waiting room furniture, laboratory equipment, hospital beds and mattresses, a panoramic dental X-ray machine, and a plethora of smaller medical and surgical equipment and supplies filled up all the void spaces in the container.

Container Shipped to Kenya

April 16, 2018, Kenya.  Eight hospital beds, waiting room furniture, waste receptacles and a manual wheelchair filled this 18’ box truck shipment for Child Aid Africa, Inc.  The items were destined for the East African country of Kenya.

Container Shipped to Dominican Republic

April 14, 2018, Dominican Republic.  Mission Relief Services was pleased to load a 16’ box truck with several stretchers, exam tables, bedside cabinets and overbed tables, 12 cases of disposable isolation gowns and 20 boxes of assorted medical-surgical supplies.  These items were requested by Diogenes Molina of New York for ultimate shipment to his compatriots in the Dominican Republic.
